Cindy Bullens, two time Grammy nominated musician, and composer for the upcoming
documentary "The Space Between Breaths" will join Drs. Gloria & Heidi Horsley on
their nationally syndicated talk radio program "Healing the Grieving Heart" May 8th
at 9 AM PST/12 Noon EST.

"Cindy fits our topic 'The Healing Power of Music' perfectly," said Dr. Heidi
Horsley, host of Healing the Grieving Heart, "Her personal experience after the loss
of her daughter, and the inspired power of her music will offer our audience a

In 1978, Cindy was nominated for a Grammy Award for her vocal performances on the
Grease film soundtrack. The following year, she released her debut solo album Desire
Wire (United Artists, 1979) and scored a breakthrough hit with her song \"Survivor,\"
which earned Cindy a second Grammy Award nomination for best rock vocal performance.
Signed to Casablanca Records in 1980, Cindy released Steal The Night, a strong
sophomore album.

In 1994, Cindy released \"Why Not?,\" a collection of demos recorded with her friend
David Mansfield, on her own Blue Lobster label. In 1999, Artemis Records picked up
her Blue Lobster album Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth, written after her
daughter Jessie\'s death, for national distribution. The album received the AFIM
(independent music) award for \"Best Rock Album.\" One of the highlights of her 2000
tour was opening a series of California concerts at the personal request of
headliner Emmylou Harris.

Dr. Heidi Horsley, PsyD, MSW, MS, is a bereaved sibling and a licensed psychologist
and social worker. She holds graduate degrees from the University of San Francisco,
Columbia University, and Loyola University. Dr. Horsley is an adjunct professor at
Columbia University and works in the FDNY-Columbia University Family Guidance
Program with families who lost firefighters in the World Trade Center. She is also
author of "Teen Grief Relief".

field of family therapy for over twenty years. She holds graduate degrees from the
